The entire process took six months , as holders of NON EU/EEA passports, the French long term stay Visa TYPE D had to be applied for initially from the French Embassy in Sydney, and once this was issued, this can take 3-4 months) the family came to Monaco and we quickly found property, organized banking, and the Monaco Residency application and formalities, all within 6 weeks. It is necessary to register the children in the International school as far in advance as possible prior to the actual move as places are limited. Up to 12-18 months advance registration is recommended.
